‘A PLACE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO BELIEVE’

As a Christian project, we are passionate about offering young people a space to be able to explore faith should they wish to. The below projects will run at different times to ‘The Pillar Space’ so young people are able to continue accessing it whilst participating in this element of the framework. 

PROJECTS

ALPHA YOUTH - LAUNCHING AUTUMN 2024

Alpha Youth creates a space for young people to have meaningful conversations about life, faith and purpose. Each Alpha Youth session is made up of different parts including a video and discussion time, and it’s a space for young people to explore faith on their own terms. Courses run for 6 weeks at a time.

Young people who are asking questions about faith will be invited to join Alpha Youth. Young people have complete autonomy in this decision and will still be able to access The Pillar Space regardless of whether they choose to attend Alpha Youth.

YOUTH MINISTRY

The Pillar project is run in churches with a well-established and connected youth ministry. This will be a place to welcome young people from The Pillar to a space where they can explore faith further if they chose to, whilst also being in a healthy and supportive environment. Youth Ministry often involves different social events, worship nights and trips away. The Pillar gets together with the youth ministry for some annual events like Christmas/Easter celebrations.
