We all wander far from God and lose our way. Christ comes to find us and welcomes us home. In baptism we respond to his call and place our loyalty in Christ.
Therefore I ask these questions which you must answer for yourselves.
Do you turn to Christ?
ANSWER: I DO
Do you repent of your sins?
ANSWER: I DO
Do you renounce evil?
ANSWER: I DO
You have come to baptism. You must now declare before God and his Gathered Church the Christian faith into which you are to be baptised.
Do you believe and trust in God the Father, who made the world, His Son Jesus Christ, who redeemed mankind & the Holy Spirit, who gives life to the people of God?
ANSWER: I BELIEVE AND TRUST IN HIM
This is the faith of the Church
