GEORGIA HART

The Pillar Project Lead and Registered Mental Health Nurse

God gave Georgia the vision for The Pillar in 2020. A lifelong Totton resident, she knows the community well, having attended both Testwood Secondary School and Totton College. During her school years, Georgia faced her own mental health challenges and saw first-hand the shortage of local services to support young people.

In September 2019, Georgia qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and just a few months later, in January 2020, she became a Christian. She went on to serve for three years as an NHS Community Mental Health Nurse in Totton before joining St Wins Church full-time as Community Youth Pastor. Today, she leads The Pillar full-time, combining her professional expertise and personal faith to champion young people’s mental health in the community she loves.

With over five years’ experience in clinical leadership, operations management, and team development, she brought both professional expertise and deep compassion to her work. Although she has now stepped away from her paid role at The Pillar to focus on church operations, Tori remains an active member of the advisory board, continuing her commitment to improving mental health provision and ensuring every young person can access the help they need, whenever they need it.
